After a week in the South of France, with anything but hours of endless sunshine, the team are preparing to remove all of the 8 exhibitions stands that we had worked on for so long, from months of designing to a mad 20 hours straight spent installing them, with a Midnight start!
AMRAE itself was a huge success for our clients and those who attended - another successful year for the event and the French risk management community, with everything looking forward to Lille in 2016.
So, what did we learn from this project? Despite all of their focus on the latest 'this' and the latest 'that', business is still very much about the people you know and talking to those who you don't, in order to find out the latest thoughts, ideas and issues for the market. I'm not suggesting that the latest trends don't have a place, but it is great to see that human interaction is still at the heart of things, together with great coffee and the odd glass of wine.
And it was certainly very strong coffee that got the team through this installation!
